Method
- Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6 to 8 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Reduce the heat to medium. Pour the chicken broth into the skillet and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom.
- Stir in the dry ranch seasoning mix until combined.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce starts to thicken slightly.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese until it melts into the sauce.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Toss to coat the chicken evenly with the creamy ranch sauce. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes until the chicken is heated through.
- Serve the creamy ranch chicken immediately over rice, pasta, or with a side of vegetables.

Notes
You can substitute half-and-half for heavy cream if you prefer a lighter sauce, but the sauce will be thinner. For extra flavor, add 1 teaspoon of garlic powder when you add the ranch seasoning.
