Ingredients

For the Yogurt Base
  • 2 cups Greek yogurt, plain or vanilla Full-fat recommended
  • 1/4 cup Maple syrup or honey Adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
For the Toppings
  • 1 cup Fresh strawberries, sliced About 1 cup
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate chips, dark or milk Or chopped chocolate

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper

Method

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the Greek yogurt, maple syrup (or honey), and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Pour the yogurt mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Spread it into an even layer, about 1/2 inch thick.
  4. Arrange the sliced strawberries evenly over the yogurt layer.
  5. Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the strawberries and yogurt.
  6. Place the baking sheet in the freezer. Freeze for at least 3 hours, or until completely solid.
  7. Once frozen, remove the bark from the freezer. Lift the parchment paper to remove the bark from the sheet. Break the bark into irregular pieces.
  8. Store the yogurt bark pieces in an airtight container in the freezer.

Notes

If you prefer a firmer chocolate coating, you can melt the chocolate chips and drizzle them over the strawberries before freezing, instead of sprinkling them on top.
