Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
- Cut the bread into 1-inch cubes, but do not cut all the way through the bottom crust. This will keep the loaf intact.
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and salt.
- Brush the garlic butter mixture over the bread cubes, making sure to get it into the cuts.
- Stuff the mozzarella and cheddar cheese into the cuts between the bread cubes.
- Place the bread into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let it cool slightly before serving. Pull the pieces apart to enjoy.
Notes
You can add other cheeses like Monterey Jack or Gruyere. A sprinkle of red pepper flakes can add a little heat.
