Ingredients
  

  • 3 lbs chicken wings
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce your choice

  • Large bowl

Method
 

  1. Rinse chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. In a large bowl, mix olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
  3. Toss the chicken wings in the spice mixture until they are evenly coated.
  4. Preheat your smoker to 250°F using hickory or applewood chips.
  5. Place wings on smoker grates and smoke for 1.5 to 2 hours until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  6. In the last five minutes of smoking, brush on BBQ sauce for a caramelized finish.
  7. Remove from smoker, let rest briefly, then enjoy.
