Bacon-Wrapped Dates

Ingredients
  

For the Dates
  • 24 Medjool dates pitted
  • 12 Bacon strips cut in half lengthwise

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Take one half strip of bacon and wrap it around each pitted date. Secure with a toothpick if needed.
  3. Place the wrapped dates on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the dates are softened. You may need to flip them halfway through for even cooking.
  5. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For an extra touch, you can sprinkle a little brown sugar or a pinch of cayenne pepper on the bacon before baking.
