  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for greasing dish
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with olive oil.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, marinara sauce, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix all ingredients well.
  4. Pour the chicken mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly across the bottom.
  5. In a small bowl, combine the mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, and breadcrumbs. Mix these gently.
  6. Sprinkle the cheese and breadcrumb mixture evenly over the chicken layer.
  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the casserole is heated through.
  8. Let the casserole stand for 5 minutes before you serve it.
