Method
- Place the hulled strawberries and chopped peaches into a blender.
- Add the water and the optional sweetener to the blender.
- Blend the mixture on high speed until it is completely smooth. This creates a puree.
- Place a fine-mesh sieve over a large bowl. Pour the blended mixture through the sieve, pressing down on the solids with a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible.
- Discard the remaining pulp in the sieve.
- Taste the juice and add more sweetener if needed. Stir well.
- Serve the juice immediately over ice, or chill in the refrigerator before serving.
Notes
If you prefer a thicker drink, skip the straining step and serve the mixture as a smoothie or puree.
