  • 3/4 cup Greek yogurt For creaminess and protein.
  • 1/2 cup Milk Use any milk of your choice to adjust consistency.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract Adds a subtle warmth and depth of flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Honey or maple syrup Optional, for added sweetness.

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Method

  1. Place the strawberries, rolled oats, Greek yogurt, and milk into a blender.
  2. Add the vanilla extract and honey or maple syrup if you are using them.
  3. Blend on high until smooth, about 30 to 45 seconds. Stop the blender and scrape down the sides if necessary.
  4. Check the consistency and sweetness. Add a bit more milk if you want it thinner, or more sweetener if you prefer it sweeter.
  5. Pour the smoothie into a glass and consume right away for the best texture and freshness.

Notes

You can swap Greek yogurt for dairy-free yogurt like almond or coconut yogurt to make this recipe vegan. If strawberries are not in season, try using mixed berries or frozen cherries instead.
