Method
- Make the white chocolate sauce. Combine the white chocolate chips, heavy cream, and 2 tablespoons of milk in a small saucepan over low heat.
- Stir the mixture constantly until the chocolate is completely melted and the sauce is smooth. Remove from heat.
- Pour 2 to 3 tablespoons of the warm white chocolate sauce into the bottom of a tall glass. You can adjust this amount based on how sweet you like your drink.
- Add the shot of espresso (or strong coffee) to the glass with the sauce and stir briefly to combine.
- Fill the glass with ice cubes.
- Pour the remaining 1/2 cup of milk over the ice.
- Stir everything together well before you drink it.
Notes
If you want a cold foam topping, whip a small amount of heavy cream with a teaspoon of powdered sugar until slightly thickened, and spoon it on top before serving.
