  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Marinade/Seasoning
  • 3 fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • To taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, and oregano.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together minced garlic, lemon juice, and soy sauce. Pour this mixture over the chicken in the skillet.
  5. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  6. Allow chicken to rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
