Simple Baked Chicken Breast

Ingredients
  

Chicken and Seasoning
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts About 6-8 ounces each
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Rub the olive oil over all sides of the chicken breasts.
  4. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts. Place the seasoned chicken in the prepared baking dish.
  5. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit (74 degrees Celsius) when checked with a meat thermometer.
  6. Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing or serving.

Notes
