- Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain the pasta and set it aside.
- Season the chicken pieces with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5 to 7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
- Pour the chicken broth into the same skillet. Bring it to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
- Reduce the heat to medium-low. Stir in the heavy cream and Italian seasoning. Let the sauce gently simmer for about 3 minutes until it starts to thicken slightly.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth. Taste the sauce and adjust salt and pepper if needed.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Add the drained pasta to the skillet and toss everything together until the pasta and chicken are well coated with the sauce.
- Serve the chicken and pasta immediately.

Notes
You can add cooked vegetables like spinach or mushrooms to the sauce when you add the cream for extra flavor and nutrition.
