Queso Dip (Stovetop or Slow Cooker)

A simple and delicious queso dip recipe that can be made on the stovetop or in a slow cooker.

Ingredients
  

For the Queso
  • 1 pound Velveeta cheese cut into cubes
  • 1 can Rotel tomatoes drained
  • 1/2 cup milk or heavy cream

Method
 

  1. Stovetop Method: In a saucepan over medium heat, combine Velveeta cheese, drained Rotel tomatoes, and milk. Stir until cheese is melted and smooth.
  2. Slow Cooker Method: Add cubed Velveeta cheese, drained Rotel tomatoes, and milk to a slow cooker. Cook on low for 1-2 hours, stirring occasionally, until cheese is melted and smooth.
  3. Serve immediately with your favorite tortilla chips.

Notes

You can add cooked ground beef, sausage, or jalapeños for extra flavor.
