- Season the steaks generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steaks and cook to your desired doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
- Remove steaks from the skillet and let them rest.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through.
- Stir in the lemon juice and chopped parsley. Toss to coat the shrimp.
- Serve the steak with the garlic butter shrimp.
Notes
You can adjust the cooking time for the steak based on your preferred level of doneness. For a richer flavor, you can add a splash of white wine to the shrimp pan after cooking the garlic.
