- Heat the large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef to the skillet.
- Cook the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula, until it is browned. Drain off any excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion to the skillet with the beef. Cook until the onion softens, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Remove the skillet from the heat. Divide the ground beef mixture among four plates. Serve immediately over brown rice with a side of steamed broccoli.
