- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet. Cook, stirring occasionally, until they release their liquid and start to brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for another minute until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
- Season the mushrooms with salt and black pepper to your taste.
- Stir everything together. If using, garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
