Garlic Butter Mushrooms (Skillet)

A quick and easy recipe for savory garlic butter mushrooms cooked in a skillet. Perfect as a side dish or appetizer.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound Mushrooms cleaned and sliced
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped, for garnish (optional)

Method
 

  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet. Cook, stirring occasionally, until they release their liquid and start to brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for another minute until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
  4. Season the mushrooms with salt and black pepper to your taste.
  5. Stir everything together. If using, garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve hot as a delicious side dish with steak, chicken, or fish, or enjoy them on their own as a flavorful appetizer.
