Fast Salsa Chicken for Tacos and Bowls

Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 16 oz jar thick salsa
  • 1 pkg taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
  • 2 cups cheese (shredded)
  • 1 pkg corn tortillas

Method
 

  1. Add chicken, taco seasoning, and salsa to the slow cooker.
  2. Cook on high for 3 hours or on low for 5 hours.
  3. Shred chicken in the slow cooker and let it simmer in the juices for another 10 to 15 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle cilantro on top.
  5. Serve in warm corn tortillas and add your favorite toppings.
