Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 6 Bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs About 2.5 to 3 pounds total
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder

Equipment

  • Slow Cooker (Crockpot)
  • Tongs

Method

  1. Pat the chicken thighs dry using paper towels. This helps the seasoning adhere better.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the salt, pepper, and garlic powder together.
  3. Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over all surfaces of the chicken thighs.
  4. Place the seasoned chicken thighs in the slow cooker. Arrange them in a single layer if possible.
  5. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or on high for 3 to 4 hours, until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  6. Carefully remove the chicken from the slow cooker using tongs. Let the chicken rest on a cutting board for 15 minutes before serving.
