Ingredients

Salmon
  • 4 Salmon fillets (about 6 oz each) Skin on or off
  • 2 Tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
Flavorings
  • 1 Lemon Lemon Sliced thinly
  • 2 Tbsp Fresh dill Chopped
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh parsley Chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Aluminum foil

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry using paper towels. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, salt, pepper, chopped dill, chopped parsley, and minced garlic.
  4. Brush the herb and oil mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
  5. Place two or three thin slices of lemon on top of each fillet.
  6. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time depends on the thickness of your fillets.
  7. Remove from the oven and serve immediately.

Notes

For a crispier top, you can briefly place the salmon under the broiler for the last minute, watching carefully to prevent burning.
