Method
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry using paper towels. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, salt, pepper, chopped dill, chopped parsley, and minced garlic.
- Brush the herb and oil mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
- Place two or three thin slices of lemon on top of each fillet.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time depends on the thickness of your fillets.
- Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
Notes
For a crispier top, you can briefly place the salmon under the broiler for the last minute, watching carefully to prevent burning.
