Total Time 2 minutes
Servings: 1 drink
Course: Beverage
Cuisine: American

Ingredients

Iced Coffee Base (Order a short/tall Iced Coffee or use instant coffee)
  • 1 packet Sugar substitute or sweetener of choice Or use simple syrup if available
Flavor Add-ins (If ordering out)
  • 1 pump Sugar-free vanilla syrup Ask for just one pump to save money
  • 1 splash Milk or cream Use what you have on hand

Equipment

  • Mug or cup

Method

  1. If using instant coffee, mix the coffee powder with a small amount of hot water in your mug until dissolved. Let it cool slightly.
  2. If ordering from Starbucks, ask for a short or tall Iced Coffee. Specify that you want only one pump of syrup to keep the cost down.
  3. Add your sweetener of choice to the coffee base.
  4. Add a splash of milk or cream if desired.
  5. Fill the rest of the cup with ice if you made this at home, or stir well if you ordered it out.

Notes

To make this even cheaper, buy a large container of cold brew concentrate and dilute it with water or milk in your dorm room. This drastically cuts down on the per-drink cost compared to buying individual drinks.
