Method
- Use a powerful blender capable of handling frozen fruit.
- Place all ingredients into the blender in the order listed. Blend on high speed until the mixture is thick and smooth. Start with 2 Tablespoons of cocoa powder, blend, and then add the remaining 1 Tablespoon if you want a stronger chocolate flavor.
- You might need to stop the blender a few times to stir or scrape down the sides.
- If using, drizzle the inside of your serving glass with 1 teaspoon of chocolate syrup, then pour in the smoothie and serve immediately.
Notes
You can adjust this recipe based on your preferences. Omit the sweetener if you prefer a less sweet smoothie. Increase the peanut butter amount for a stronger peanut butter flavor. Add more milk if you want a thinner consistency. For added nutrition, blend in 1 cup of your preferred greens.
