- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Prepare homemade marinara sauce if using.
- Thaw the frozen spinach in a microwave or on the stovetop, squeezing out all excess water.
- In a large bowl, combine the drained spinach, ricotta cheese, 3/4 of the grated parmesan, and season with salt and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
- In a baking dish, spread 1/2 cup of marinara sauce, layer lasagna sheets, spinach-ricotta mixture, and mozzarella.
- Continue layering with remaining ingredients, finishing with noodles topped with marinara and remaining cheeses.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is melted and edges are golden.
- Allow to cool for 10 minutes, garnish with fresh basil, cut into slices, and serve.

Notes
This recipe uses standard lasagna sheets. If you use no-boil sheets, adjust the liquid content of your sauce slightly. For a garlic herb flavor, you can add 1 teaspoon of dried Italian seasoning to the ricotta mixture.
