Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets, skin on or off 6 ounce each
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Small bowl
  • Paper towels

Method

  1. Pat the salmon fillets completely dry using paper towels. This step helps achieve a crispy exterior.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  4. Brush the butter mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
  5. Set your air fryer temperature to 400°F (200°C).
  6. Cook for 10 to 12 minutes, depending on the thickness of your fillets, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Remove from the air fryer, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

For thicker fillets (over 1.5 inches), you may need to increase the cook time by 1 to 2 minutes.
If using skin-on salmon, place the fillets skin-side down in the air fryer basket.
Do not overcrowd the basket; cook in batches if necessary to maintain crispiness.
