  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
Recipe 3: Spicy Shrimp Tacos
  • 1 lb Shrimp Small to medium
  • 1 tbsp Chili powder
  • 12 count Small tortillas Warmed

Equipment

Method
 

  1. For Garlic Butter Shrimp: Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for one minute until fragrant.
  2. Add the shrimp to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Stir in the lemon juice during the last minute of cooking.
  3. For Sheet Pan Lemon Herb Shrimp: Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 Celsius). Toss the shrimp with olive oil, oregano, salt, and pepper on a baking sheet.
  4. Roast for 8 to 10 minutes, or until cooked through. Serve immediately with lemon wedges.
  5. For Spicy Shrimp Tacos: Toss the shrimp with chili powder, cumin, and salt in a bowl.
  6. Cook the seasoned shrimp in a hot skillet with a little oil for about 5 minutes total until done. Serve the cooked shrimp in warmed tortillas with your preferred toppings like cabbage slaw or avocado.

Notes

You can substitute frozen shrimp for fresh; just thaw them completely under cold running water before starting the recipe.
