Ingredients
  

For the Casserole Base
  • 1 lb Ground beef or turkey Cooked and drained
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) Cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese Divided
  • 2 cups Cooked egg noodles
For the Topping
  • 1 cup Crushed potato chips or breadcrumbs

  • 9x13 inch baking dish
  • Large mixing bowl

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground meat, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until everything is evenly combined.
  3. Fold in the cooked egg noodles gently. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it into an even layer.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over the top of the casserole mixture.
  5. Top the casserole evenly with the crushed potato chips or breadcrumbs.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the topping is golden brown. Let it stand for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes
