Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish
  • Chopped green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, toss chicken pieces with olive oil.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, rice vinegar, and grated ginger. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and water to create a slurry. Add the slurry to the simmering sauce and stir until thickened.
  4. Add the chicken pieces to the sauce and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and coated in the sauce.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
