Ingredients

- 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 ripe avocado, pitted and diced
- 1/4 cup chopped red onion
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mash the black beans with a fork.
- Add the diced avocado, red onion, cilantro, lime juice, minced garlic, and cumin.
- Stir to combine all ingredients.
- Season with salt and pepper to your preference.
- Serve immediately or chill for later.
Notes
- For a smoother dip, you can process the ingredients in a food processor.
- Add a pinch of cayenne pepper for a little heat.
