Description
Create spooky and delicious witch finger breadsticks for your Halloween party.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
- 1/4 cup ketchup or marinara sauce (for dipping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
- In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, garlic powder, parsley, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the butter mixture evenly over each crescent roll triangle.
- Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese and chives over the buttered dough.
- Starting from the wide end, roll up each triangle tightly.
- Place the rolled dough seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Using a knife, gently score lines on the top of each breadstick to resemble knuckles.
- Press a blanched almond sliver into one end of each breadstick to create a fingernail.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve warm with ketchup or marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
- For a more realistic look, you can use a toothpick to create small wrinkles on the breadsticks before baking.
- Ensure the almond slivers are securely pressed into the dough so they don’t fall off during baking.
