Ingredients

- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons ranch seasoning mix
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions
- In a shallow dish, combine flour, salt, and pepper.
- In another shallow dish, place buttermilk.
- In a third shallow dish, combine panko breadcrumbs and ranch seasoning mix.
- Dredge each chicken piece in the flour mixture, then dip in buttermilk, and finally coat with the panko mixture.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken bites to the skillet in a single layer, being careful not to overcrowd the pan.
- Fry for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove chicken from skillet and drain on paper towels.
Notes
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
- For a healthier option, bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
