Description

A rich and fudgy brownie packed with protein.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 scoop (30g) chocolate protein powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8×8 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, protein powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Stir in the milk and chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  8. Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.

Notes

  • For an extra fudgy brownie, underbake slightly.
  • You can substitute almond flour for all-purpose flour for a gluten-free option.
