Description

These keto Philly cheesesteak rolls offer the classic flavors of a cheesesteak in a low-carb, gluten-free format.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb thinly sliced ribeye steak
  • 1 large green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional: 1/4 cup mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add the sliced onion and bell pepper and cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the thinly sliced ribeye steak to the skillet. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the steak is browned and cooked through.
  4. Stir in the cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, and provolone cheese until melted and well combined. If using, stir in the mayonnaise.
  5. Spoon the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and lightly golden.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the mixture.
  • Serve hot as is, or with your favorite keto-friendly dipping sauce.
