Description

A quick and easy pizza made on French bread, perfect for a weeknight meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread, split lengthwise
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup sliced green bell pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the French bread halves, cut side up, on a baking sheet.
  3. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over each bread half.
  4. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  5. Arrange the pepperoni, olives, and bell pepper on top of the cheese.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
  7. Slice and serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can add other toppings like mushrooms, onions, or cooked sausage.
