Easy and flavorful grilled shrimp skewers with lemon and herbs.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread shrimp onto skewers.
  5. Grill shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side, or until pink and cooked through.
  6. Serve immediately with lemon wedges.

Notes

  • Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before use to prevent burning.
  • You can substitute fresh herbs for dried herbs. Use 1 tablespoon each of fresh oregano and thyme.
