Description

Easy baked Greek chicken tenders with lemon and oregano.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into strips
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the chicken strips to the bowl and toss to coat evenly. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Arrange the chicken strips in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink in the center.
  6. Serve hot, optionally garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

  • Serve with tzatziki sauce or a lemon-herb dipping sauce.
  • For crispier tenders, you can lightly coat them in panko breadcrumbs before baking.
