A quick and easy skillet meal featuring shrimp and broccoli in a savory garlic butter sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
- Add broccoli florets to the same skillet. Add about 1/4 cup of water, cover, and steam for 5-7 minutes, until tender-crisp.
- Remove lid and add butter to the skillet. Melt butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in lemon juice and parsley. Season with salt and pepper.
- Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- Serve over rice or pasta for a complete meal.
