Ingredients

  • 1 cup red lentils, soaked overnight
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Drain the soaked red lentils.
  2. Blend lentils with water, yogurt, cilantro, cumin, turmeric, and salt until smooth.
  3. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake.
