Description

A comforting casserole featuring chicken and stuffing.


Ingredients

  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups cubed cooked chicken
  • 1 (6 ounce) package seasoned stuffing mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, water, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stir in the cooked chicken.
  4. Add the dry stuffing mix and toss to combine.
  5. Pour the mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Pour the melted butter evenly over the top.
  7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and bubbly and the stuffing is tender.

Notes

  • You can use leftover cooked chicken or rotisserie chicken for this recipe.
  • For a crispier topping, you can toast the stuffing mix separately before adding it to the casserole.
