Description
Simple and refreshing cucumber salad sandwiches.
Ingredients

- 8 slices bread
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup cucumber, thinly sliced
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, dill, chives, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the mixture on one side of each bread slice.
- Arrange cucumber slices on four of the bread slices.
- Top with the remaining bread slices, spread-side down.
- Cut sandwiches in half if desired.
Notes
- For a tangier flavor, add a teaspoon of lemon juice to the mayonnaise mixture.
- Chill the sandwiches for at least 15 minutes before serving for best flavor.
