Crispy Feta Fried Eggs

  • 1 large egg

  • 23 tablespoons feta cheese (crumbled, ideally block feta)

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (or ghee for extra crisp)

  • Optional: black pepper, red pepper flakes, chopped parsley or dill

  • Optional toppings: avocado slices, Greek yogurt, olives

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a nonstick or cast-iron skillet over medium heat.

  • Crumble the feta into a ring shape in the pan, leaving space in the center.

  • Crack the egg directly into the middle of the ring.

  • Cook uncovered for 3–5 minutes until the egg whites are set and feta edges are golden.

  • Cover for 1–2 minutes if you prefer a less runny yolk.

  • Remove carefully with a spatula and plate. Add seasonings or toppings as desired.

 

  • Serve immediately with toast, salad, or on its own.
