Description

Easy and fun appetizer shaped like mummies using hot dogs and crescent rolls.


Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 16 fully cooked cocktail-size smoked sausages or hot dogs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Everything bagel seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles. Cut each triangle lengthwise into 3 strips.
  3. Wrap 2 strips of dough around each sausage to resemble mummy wrappings, leaving a small gap for the “face.”
  4. Place the wrapped sausages on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Brush the dough with the beaten egg.
  6. Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning over the dough.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Use small dots of mustard or edible candy eyes for the mummy’s eyes after baking.
