- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix together the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.
- Heat the olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown.
- Pour the chicken broth into the skillet around the chicken.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- You can serve this chicken with your favorite sides like rice, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.
- Adjust the spices to your preference. Add a pinch of cayenne pepper for a little heat.
