- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Toss the green beans with olive oil, salt, and pepper on a baking sheet.
- Spread the green beans in a single layer.
- Roast for 15-20 minutes, or until tender-crisp.
- Sprinkle the panko breadcrumbs over the green beans during the last 5 minutes of roasting.
- Continue roasting until the breadcrumbs are golden brown and crispy.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add a clove of minced garlic to the green beans before roasting.
- If you prefer softer green beans, roast them for a few minutes longer.
