- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, honey, minced garlic, and thyme.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish.
- Pour the balsamic mixture over the chicken, ensuring it is evenly coated.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Baste the chicken with the pan juices halfway through baking.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a thicker glaze, reduce the balsamic mixture in a small saucepan over medium heat for a few minutes before pouring over the chicken.
- You can add vegetables like broccoli or asparagus to the baking dish during the last 15 minutes of cooking.
