A quick and easy recipe for crispy chicken parmesan made in the air fryer.

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut in half horizontally
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a shallow dish, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each chicken cutlet into the beaten egg, then dredge in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to coat.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil. Place the coated chicken cutlets in a single layer in the basket.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Top each chicken cutlet with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
- Return to the air fryer for another 2-3 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
- Serve immediately with your favorite pasta or salad.
- For extra crispy chicken, you can double-dip the cutlets in egg and breadcrumbs.
