Description

A quick and easy recipe for crispy chicken parmesan made in the air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut in half horizontally
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a shallow dish, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each chicken cutlet into the beaten egg, then dredge in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to coat.
  4. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil. Place the coated chicken cutlets in a single layer in the basket.
  5. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Top each chicken cutlet with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  7. Return to the air fryer for another 2-3 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
